摘要: Abstract The thermal degradation of polyacrylonitrile has been studied using the techniques thermogravimetry, differential analysis and volatilization analysis. influence experimental conditions on results is examined. very sharp exothermic reaction below 300° an important feature programmed pyrolysis in inert atmosphere; it corresponds to polymerization nitrile groups. It can be removed completely by isothermal ageing 200° during which treatment there negligible weight loss. Oxygen a marked inhibiting effect reaction; air pyrolysis, exotherm occurs at higher temperatures. development colour, relation thermoanalytical curves, reactions occurring between 250° 1000° are discussed.
