摘要: Intrinsic membrane properties and synaptic responses of neocortical neurons located lateral to photochemically induced ischemic lesions were investigated using slice preparation. In comparison from control slices, these had a significantly less negative resting potential without any significant change in input resistance. addition, gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) mediated inhibition was found be efficient; the conductances both early late inhibitory postsynaptic potentials (IPSPs) smaller, reversal IPSP shifted more positive value. some neurons, 'epileptiform' could elicited, which abolished after wash-in N-methyl-D-aspartic (NMDA)-receptor antagonist D-2-amino-5-phosphonovaleric (AP-5). The results provide possible explanation for hyperexcitability vicinity cortical infarcts.
