摘要: The threshold for the fabrication of fiber Bragg gratings with ultrafast 800-nm radiation and a phase mask was studied in SMF-28 all-silica core by use 125-fs pulses. High-pressure molecular hydrogen loading (H2 loading) observed to significantly lower grating writing standard Ge-doped telecommunication fiber. No reduction index change appeared be confined region Gratings H2-loaded had thermal annealing behavior similar UV-induced gratings. Unlike gratings, no absorption associated Ge–OH defect formation observed.
