摘要: Abstract This paper aims at providing an insightful comparison between three of the most widely used commercially available macroelement models for assessing global seismic performance existing masonry structures: equivalent frame model 3Muri®, and two- three-dimensional discrete macroelements in 3D-Macro®. To this aim, a stone building, representative Urban Cultural Heritage (UCH) typology Azores archipelago (in Portugal), was considered as case study. Firstly, sensitivity analyses were performed to investigate impact few modelling aspects on study ultimately define reference model. Secondly, analysed both linearly nonlinearly. Finally, evaluated by applying N2 Method. With comparative study, authors aim discussing, from user viewpoint, features that these software codes corresponding have common those where they diverge, well their main advantages drawbacks. Results demonstrate should be applied UCH assets with due diligence, bearing mind particularities limitations associated chosen strategy software.
