摘要: Optical rotatory dispersion (ORD) and circular dichroism (CD) of 17 amino acid hydantoins were measured between 190 600 nm. Most exhibited the negative Cotton effect which showed trough 238 245 The CD was also observed 212 236 attributable to n→π* transition carbonyl group at C-4 hydantoin ring.
