摘要: A review of records from the AnTox database American Society for Prevention Cruelty to Animals Animal Poison Control Center identified 43 dogs that developed increased blood urea nitrogen concentration, serum creatinine or both as well clinical signs after ingesting grapes, raisins, both. Clinical findings, laboratory histopathological treatments performed, and outcome were evaluated. All vomited, lethargy, anorexia, diarrhea other common signs. Decreased urine output, ataxia, weakness associated with a negative outcome. High calcium × phosphorus product (Ca P), hyperphosphatemia, hypercalcemia present in 95%, 90%, 62% which these variables Extremely high initial total peak Ca P, P prognostic indicators. Proximal renal tubular necrosis was most consistent finding histopathology Fifty-three percent survived, 15 23 having complete resolution azotemia. Although mechanism injury grapes raisins remains unclear, findings this study contribute an understanding course acute failure can occur ingestion dogs.
