摘要: PURPOSE To investigate the contribution of posterior corneal surfaces to higher-order aberrations (HOAs) cornea, optical quality, and visual acuity after keratoplasty. METHODS Corneal topography anterior pachymetry were conducted using segment coherence tomography (AS-OCT) in 40 eyes (10 penetrating keratoplasty [PK], 10 deep lamellar [DALK], Descemet's stripping automated endothelial [DSAEK], normal eyes). Anterior, posterior, total HOAs calculated ray-tracing decomposition into Zernike polynomials evaluated as root mean square values. Modulation transfer functions (MTFs) also evaluated. RESULTS Topography maps showed reverse patterns normal, PK, DALK eyes, but not DSAEK eyes. In significantly smaller (~10%) than surface (P < 0.01), whereas there was no significant difference between = 0.483). MTFs cornea slightly better those surface. lower Visual correlated with 0.05). CONCLUSIONS Posterior compensate for increased had a negative influence on MTFs.
