摘要: Abstract Scale-like copper oxide (CuO)/tetrapod-like ZnO whisker (T-ZnOw) nanocomposites were fabricated using poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG; M w = 400) as a soft template by simple and environmentally friendly method without the use of hydroxide reagents at low temperatures. The structures morphologies samples investigated in detail, photocatalytic properties determined photoluminescence (PL) detection degradation cationic pollutant (methylene blue, MB) anionic (methyl orange, MO) aqueous solutions under ultraviolet (UV) irradiation. Large numbers scale-like CuO nanoparticles deposited on T-ZnOw surfaces an ordered fashion; amount increased, arrangement became more with increasing PEG 400 content. PL emission peak intensities changed All CuO/T-ZnOw showed excellent activities MB MO UV irradiation when concentration was less than or equal to 0.60 mol/L. improved PEG400 concentration, but deteriorated increased further; this reflected spectra. better efficiency for same conditions.
