摘要: Methionine (Met) is an essential sulfur amino acid (AA) limiting growth and the precursor of cysteine (Cys), rate-limiting factor in synthesis glutathione, main intracellular non-enzymatic antioxidant. This study aimed at determining effects limited supplies Met and(or) Cys early aspects adipose tissue development oxidative stress differentiated adipocytes. Incremental reductions (70, 40, 0 µM) were compared with 100 µM (control dose) porcine preadipocytes cultured media without or (250 µM). In Cys-deprived media, both absence (0 lowest dose (40 reduced preadipocyte proliferation. Adding only partly compensated for this decrease. On opposite, mild deficiency (70 did not alter proliferation Cys. Strong also differentiation lipid accumulation into preadipose cells. Mild when was present culture whereas percent cell similar content slightly higher 70 than µM. Finally, incremental lowered reactive oxygen species (ROS) production by These results demonstrate strong dependency adipogenesis to AA supplies. decreases differentiation, alters differentiation.
