摘要: This work demonstrates a new photosensitive glassy material in the form of poly-di-methyl-siloxane (PDMS) loaded with novel Ge-derivatives. A femtosecond laser is used to write directly into bulk pristine and Ge-modified PDMS. Raman spectroscopy study origin stable refractive index (RI) change induced by fs exposure. Multimode waveguides, as well highly tunable diffraction gratings, were written material, Ge-PDMS, order demonstrate inclusion photonics structures embedded inside. Novel functionality may now be incorporated PDMS, which widely optics industry for lab-on-chip application (LOC).
