The challenges of implementing national policies to contain antibiotic resistance in Swedish healthcare-A qualitative study of perceptions among healthcare professionals.

摘要: Objective To explore and describe how healthcare policymakers practitioners from different levels of Swedish perceived the everyday practice putting national policies to contain antibiotic resistance into effect. Method A strategic sample four policymakers, three working in hospital care, six primary care were recruited interviewed person. A manifest latent content analysis was carried out on transcribed interview data. Results Analysis revealed containing could be as successful, difficult, or a dilemma. The informants’ perceptions are presented categories which first; use Sweden; secondly, definable efforts Sweden, most notably responsible antibiotics, prevention infection, improving public knowledge resistance, international collaboration; thirdly, problem areas such behavior, attitudes among public, work environment, resources. Reflection underlying meaning these led identification theme, labelled “A sense relative success, many challenges yet overcome”. Conclusion This study has given in-depth insight group their successful combat so far. It identified levels, bringing light overcome, focus future policies, more emphasis attitude behavior change, increasing awareness both patients.
