摘要: Experimental and theoretical investigation of NO decomposition in a catalytic monolith reactor has been performed. Preparation the catalyst, composed cordierite substrate as an inert carrier copper containing ZSM-5 zeolite washcoat, is described details. The reaction was examined temperature range from 573 K to 773 at different flow rates. One-dimensional (1D) heterogeneous model applied describe single channel monolith. included processes external mass transfer chemical on surface catalyst. Mass coefficient estimated correlation available literature. Kinetics by Langmuir-Hinshelwood type rate equation. verified comparing experimental data with predictions. Generally, good agreement achieved. However, constant found increase thickness washcoat. Consequently, internal transfer, even within very thin layer must also be for adequately behavior such system.
