摘要: L’arret cardiaque (AC) chez l’enfant survient principalement au decours d’une hypoxie. L’incidence rapportee est de 8 a 20/100 000 [1]. Les AC surviennent dans 50 % des cas pendant la premiere annee vie. extrahospitaliers, qui sont majoritaires, domines par les traumatismes et noyades plus 5 ans. En milieu hospitalier, ils consequence pathologie le souvent identifiee: cause respiratoire (infection pulmonaire, bronchiolite), cardiomyopathie, syndrome polymal-formatif ou choc septique [2]. Certains auteurs rapportent 30 40 causes evitables. L’asystolie bradycardie avec insuffisance circulatoire represente 80 rythmes initiaux. defibrillables ne observes que moins 10 cas. Le pronostic 3 survie 2/3 sequelles neurologiques importantes [3–4]. Il etroitement lie delai ecoule avant premiers gestes reanimation. Atkins al. retrouvait une 37 en initialement contre si asystolie
