摘要: Abstract Clear-cut habits were found for fine metal crystallites formed by evaporation of a in an atmosphere inactive gases; helium, argon and xenon. A systematic investigation electron microscopy on twenty-two kinds various formation conditions was carried out. Some the distinct morphologies so are as follows: (1) Cubes α-Cr, (2) octahedra fcc metals, (3) rhombic dodecahedra α-Fe, β-Mn Be, (4) tristetrahedra α-Mn, (5) icosatetrahedra δ-Cr, (6) hexagonal plates polyhedra Mg Zn, (7) rods with split ends Te, (8) truncated triangular biprisms (9) pentagonal decahedra and/or icosahedra metals γ-Fe. Nos. 1 to 7 single crystals, No. 8 twinned 9 so-called multiply-twinned particles. Among dodecahedra, which more or less many cases, possibly Wulff bcc respectively.
