摘要: We have developed an all-sky charge coupled devices (CCD) automatic system for detecting meteors and fireballs that will be operative in four stations Spain during 2005. The cameras were following the BOOTES-1 prototype installed at El Arenosillo Observatory 2002, which is based on a CCD detector of 4096 × pixels with fish-eye lens provides image enough resolution to make accurate astrometric measurements. Since late 2004, couple two operate 30 s alternate exposures, allowing 100% time coverage. stellar limiting magnitude images +10 zenith, +8 below ~ 65° zenithal angle. As result, provide comparison stars measurements faint accuracy 2°arcminutes. Using this prototype, been developed, Andalusia Valencian Community, start full operation Spanish Fireball Network. In addition coverage, we are developing fireball spectroscopy program using medium field lenses additional cameras. Here present first obtained from La Mayora their months activity. detection Jan 27, 2003 superbolide ± 17 1 absolute overflew Algeria Morocco example capability our prototype.
