摘要: The chronic Epstein-Barr virus syndrome is a poorly defined symptom complex characterized primarily by or recurrent debilitating fatigue and various combinations of other symptoms, including sore throat, lymph node pain tenderness, headache, myalgia, arthralgias. Although the has received recent attention, been diagnosed in many patients, not consistently. Despite name syndrome, both diagnostic value serologic tests proposed causal relationship between infection patients who have with remain doubtful. We propose new for syndrome--the syndrome--that more accurately describes this as unknown cause fatigue. also present working definition designed to improve comparability reproducibility clinical research epidemiologic studies, provide rational basis evaluating undetermined cause.
