摘要: Introduction: weight and height measurements are important data for the nutritional assessment of elderly people implementation care process. Malnutrition is common in this population, who has high rates disability that difficult to measurement variables. Objective: evaluate validity predictive equations include body circumferences created brazilian mexican people. Methods: a comparative, observational, prospective cross-sectional study, 61 were evaluated. Body weight, height, half span, calf, arm abdominal determinated. Weight estimated with de published by Rabito et al. Bland-Altman analysis Intraclass Correlation Coefficient used assess levels agreement between measured values. The level statistical significance was p < 0.05. Results: age mean 78.7 ± 8.7 55.7% females. 61.9 14.1 kg, 155.4 9.5 cm Mass Index (BMI) corresponded 25.5 5.1 kg/m. plots indicated 95% confidence interval (95% IC) limits difference real ranged from -14.3 kg 8.1 or systematic error (SE) -3.1 we observed an statistically significant coefficient 0.12 (p 0.03). IC -11.1 15.9 cm, diffe rence SE 2.4 -0.04 = 0.67) . 0.72 0.00) 0.88 obtained respectively. Conclusion: developed showed good when compared actual We variations obesity elderlys.
