摘要: Nowadays, power consumption of data centers has huge impacts on environments. Researchers are seeking to find effective solutions make reduce while keep the desired quality service or level objectives. Virtual Machine (VM) technology been widely applied in center environments due its seminal features, including reliability, flexibility, and ease management. We present GreenCloud architecture, which aims consumption, guarantee performance from users' perspective. architecture enables comprehensive online-monitoring, live virtual machine migration, VM placement optimization. To verify efficiency effectiveness proposed we take an online real-time game, Tremulous, as a application. Evaluation results show that can save up 27% energy when applying architecture.
