Influence of Plasticizer on a PEO based K + ion conducting Polymer electrolyte system for Battery applications

摘要: Poly Ethylene Oxide (PEO) based Solid polymer electrolyte films with KHCO3 and KHCO3+ plasticizer (Dimethyl formamide) have been prepared using a solution casting technique. The complexation of the Polymer PEO DMF was confirmed by IR XRD studies. conductivity-temperature plots showed an increase in conductivity increasing temperature. is about ten times larger plasticized (PEO + KHCO3) systems compared pure system. transference data indicated that charge transport these predominantly due to ions. Using this system, battery or electrochemical cell configuration K / plasticizer) (I2 C Electrolyte) fabricated its discharge characteristics were studied for constant load 100 KΩ. Open circuit voltage (OCV), Short current (SCC), Discharge time, Current density Power evaluated. A number other parameters associated evaluated from earlier reported paper.
