Gas formation in the thermal decomposition of large spherical wood particles

摘要: Gas formation, weight loss and temperature profiles in the thermal decomposition of relatively large particles pine wood have been studied. Experiments with spherical different sizes (2, 3 4 cm diameter) carried out at two heating rates system (5 12°C min−1). The existence significant radial angular causes differences conversion formation gases. experimental yields obtained for majority gas, CO2, compared calculated using a model without adjustable parameters. An acceptable agreement has achieved between results.
