摘要: Our descriptive analysis of a random sample businesses that received Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program awards shows female-owned are disadvantaged, compared to male-owned businesses, in their ability attract alternative investment funding commercialize technology-based innovations. Differences the probability receiving such financial support most evident West and Northeast Census region states. Respectively, states those regions 17 9 percentage points less likely funding.
