摘要: Abstract CO2 removal in electricity production has received a lot of attention, but iron and steel little attention as yet. This option is analysed more detail this paper. The results suggest that capture system, based on shift reaction physical absorption, combination with underground or oceanic carbon storage, could be attractive. Costs are estimated to amount 10.3–18.8 US$/t CO2, depending the process. cost level similar even lower than for new coal fired power plants. Global emissions reduced by 4%, Japanese 6.5% (80 Mt/yr) case were applied its full extent industry. use currently limited uncertainties regarding storage potentials deep aquifers environmental impacts storage. It recommended study these issues detail.
