The biological half-lives of four rat immunoglobulin isotypes

摘要: Purified preparations of monoclonal rat IgG2a, IgG1, IgM and monomeric IgA, polyclonal IgG, were lightly radiolabelled with 125I injected intravenously into rats. Blood samples taken so that the half-life each immunoglobulin isotype could be calculated. Half-life was defined as time for specific radioactivity present in blood 24 h after injection to fall by half. The values thus obtained 106 53 63 25 27 IgA.
