摘要: Abstract Background There is widespread interest in whether psychosis exists on a continuum with healthy functioning. Previous research has implied that paranoia, common symptom of psychosis, but this not been investigated using samples including both patients and non-patients up-to-date taxometric methods. Aim To assess the latent structure paranoia diverse sample Method We obtained data from 2836 participants, general population as well at-risk mental state psychotic P-scale Paranoia Deservedness Scale. Data were analysed three procedures, MAMBAC, MAXEIG L-MODE (Ruscio, 2016), two sets indicators (subscales selected items P scale), excluding patient groups. Results Eleven twelve analyses supported dimensional model. Using full subscales indicators, MAMBAC analysis was ambiguous. Overall, findings converged structure. Conclusions A implies processes involved sub-clinical may be similar to those clinical paranoia.
