摘要: Abstract The aim of this study was to obtain the first data on occurrence and distribution potentially toxic cyanobacteria cyanotoxins in Russian Easternmost part Gulf Finland Baltic Sea. Studied samples were collected from 2012 2017 three independent approaches – HPLC-HRMS, PCR light microscopy applied for analysis detection toxigenic cyanobacteria. Aphanizomenon flos-aquae Ralfs ex Born. et Flah., Planktothrix agardhii (Gom.) Anag. Kom., Microcystis aeruginosa (Kutz.) Kutz. Dolichospermum spp. dominated among samples. In 2012–2013 during research cruises, microcystins concentrations varied below levels low (0.01–0.6 μg L−1) values. autumn 2015 2017, cyanobacterial bloom events very high (dissolved up 49 μg L−1, intracellular 466 μg g−1) dissolved anatoxin-a (1.4 μg L−1) detected. evaluated toxin profile represented by most common arginine-containing variants (MC-LR, MC-RR, MC-YR) their desmethylated forms. Leucine-containing congeners (MC-LF; MC-LY; MC-LW biomass sample coast Komarovo, 2015) found at concentrations. environmental DNA samples, we identified mcy genes regions responsible MC biosynthesis that are specific Dolichospermum, Microcystis, Planktothrix. This is molecular evidence ability produce microcystins. On basis obtained genus-specific microscopy, suppose presence anatoxin-a-producing Apanizomenon population phytoplankton Finland.
