摘要: Shot noise is a powerful tool to probe correlations and microscopic transport details that conductance measurements alone cannot reveal. Even in atomic-scale Au devices are well described by Landauer-Buttiker physics, complications remain such as local heating electron-phonon interactions. We report systematic rf of shot individual gold break junctions at multiple temperatures, with most bias voltages above the energy optical phonon mode. Motivated previous experimental evidence interactions can modify Fano factors result kinked features dependence noise, we find temperature from 4.2 100 K minimal. Enhanced near [Formula: see text] beyond simply linear plateau observed. Both believed have non-interacting origins latter likely results slightly bias-dependent transmittance dominant quantum channel.
