摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide an organism having ergothioneine productivity that capable easily producing within a short period time at high yield, as compared with conventional technology, and, therefore, enables production on industrial scale. This can be achieved by transformed fungus into which gene encoding enzyme (1) or genes enzymes and (2) have been inserted in gene(s) are overexpressed. catalyzing reaction synthesizing hercynyl cysteine sulfoxide from histidine presence S-adenosyl methionine, iron (II) oxygen.
