摘要: Abstract The Cu2CdGeSe4 compound melts incongruently at 1103 K and shows a polymorphous transformation. crystal structures of both (LT HT) modifications the were determined using X-ray powder single diffraction, respectively. LT-Cu2CdGeSe4 has tetragonal structure (space group I 4 2m, a=0.57482(2), c=1.10533(3) nm, RI=0.0571 in isotropic approximation). HT-Cu2CdGeSe4 crystallizes orthorhombic space Pmn21 (lattice parameters a=0.80968(9), b=0.68929(6) c=0.66264(6) RF=0.0446 anisotropic Some peculiarities tetragonal⇔orthorhombic transformation are discussed.
