Discrimination in Mortgage Lending: A Critical Review of the Literature

摘要: This paper surveys the literature on racial disparities in mortgage lending over past twenty five years, including a discussion of theoretical models, empirical methods, and data used to test for discrimination. Weaknesses typically together with results from simulation studies cast serious doubt many claims made about discrimination markets. In its conclusion offers some proposals new directions research better understand differences usage.
