摘要: The German biotechnology industry missed the accession of this key technology in 1980s. Policy makers make different efforts to overcome shortcomings and recent gaps. Public funding schemes have been implemented establish a flourish biotech Germany. We assume that R&D policy was driven blind by idea catch up with world's leaders analyse if Germany's lost its origins. do examine, Germany sacrifice economic principles, particular not discriminating kinds 'risk' field biotechnology. study combines survey data companies public on firm level. results shed light factors which determine firm's probability being funded.
