摘要: This chapter provides an introduction to concepts of microfluidics and microfluidic design. First, terms are defined basic fluid dynamic relationships introduced. Physical aspects design consequences working with flow at the microscale described. Then, determination preferred scale for various applications devices is discussed. Finally, kinds typical microdevices described in more detail, including gravity- pressure-driven flow, through packed media, electrokinetic capillary-driven absorption-driven flow. Keywords: microfluidics; microfluidic flow; fluid dynamics; microdevices
