摘要: Summary Six groups of 10 rabbits each were fed 1% cholesterol for periods up to 4 months. Free and esterified the thoracic intima observed increase exponentially early in experiment. The rate accumulation was found depend on time exposure atherogenic diet as well serum level. data suggest that height level will not substitute length feeding. Aortic phospholipids also increased after an initial lag period. triglycerides, DNA protein showed relatively minor changes during same It is concluded these are consistent with view aortic response infiltration does reflect cellular proliferation.
