摘要: Background: Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a fatal disease characterized by pulmonary artery (PA) remodeling, elevated PA pressure and right ventricular (RV) failure. It has been previously demonstrated that treatment with Rho-kinase inhibitor, fasudil, ameliorates PH in animal models. Here, whether combination therapy fasudil sildenafil further rats was examined. Methods Results: PH induced Sprague-Dawley the use of single subcutaneous monocrotaline (MCT) injection, which caused RV systolic (RVSP), hypertrophy (RVH). While monotherapy inhibited development MCT-induced prevention protocols, their improved RVSP RVH. Moreover, histological examination significant improvements remodeling group compared groups.
