摘要: Background: Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a fatal disease characterized by pulmonary artery (PA) remodeling, elevated PA pressure and right ventricular (RV) failure. It has been previously demonstrated that treatment with Rho-kinase inhibitor, fasudil, ameliorates PH in animal models. Here, whether combination therapy fasudil sildenafil further rats was examined. Methods Results: PH induced Sprague-Dawley the use of single subcutaneous monocrotaline (MCT) injection, which caused RV systolic (RVSP), hypertrophy (RVH). While monotherapy inhibited development MCT-induced prevention protocols, their improved RVSP RVH. Moreover, histological examination significant improvements remodeling group compared groups. An echocardiographic also revealed reduction diameter Mechanistic experiments inhibition activity trunk, lung tissues as well Finally, markedly long-term survival Conclusions: These results indicate shows synergistic effects through for PH.
