摘要: Extracellular Mg2+ controls the activation of Salmonella PhoP/PhoQ regulatory system. One adaptive responses driven by includes transcriptional induction mgtA and mgtCB, which encode two P-type transporters. also expression a riboswitch located in its 5′-untranslated region (5′UTR). In this work, it was shown that 5′UTR both mgtCB is responsible for fine-tuned Mg2+-dependent regulation these genes. Evidence provided targets transcript degradation RNase E when cells are grown high environments.
