摘要: It has been noted that the integration of modern data paleontology, comparative morphology, developmental biology, and molecular genetics forms basis for understanding mechanisms evolutionary transformations ontogeny. Paleontological morphological evidence changes in ontogeny are considered based on cell biology genetics. is shown reorganizations gene regulatory cascades (mainly Hox genes) play a key role evolution axial organization animals modifications limb structure metazoans, whereas formation new types structures was apparently determined by emergence populations stem cells embryogenesis (for example, neural crest vertebrates).
