摘要: A systematic evaluation of Sjogren-like syndrome (SLS) was performed in 68 bone marrow transplant (BMT) recipients (60 allogeneic and 8 syngeneic recipients). At day 100, the patients underwent clinical evaluation, functional salivary scintigraphy, lip biopsy. If any findings were abnormal, examinations repeated annually for 3 years. Twenty-two with SLS extensive chronic graft-versus-host disease (CGVHD) had abnormal scintiscan biopsy at 100. Marked keratoconjunctivitis sicca xerostomia developed between 12 24 months after BMT and, thereafter, progressively decreased. Twenty-seven irradiated (7 20 without CGVHD) isolated disturbed but normal Seven other limited CGVHD a lymphocytic infiltrate on no scintiscan. Schirmer's test, allowed us to distinguish from radiotherapy sequelae. As early as these tests have predictive value SLS, one criteria CGVHD.
