摘要: Chlamydia trachomatis causes a wide range of diseases in the human genital tract and eye. Infection females extends from asymptomatic cervicitis to perihepatitis acute salpingitis with subsequent infertility. In males, infection urethritis, severe urethritis epididymitis. Both males can develop chlamydial proctitis, may be followed by reactive arthritis. Babies born infected mothers but asymptomatic, they neonatal ophthalmia (NCO) or pneumonitis (NCP). Lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV) present as painless ulceration, this lymphadenitis genito-ano-rectal syndrome. Ocular infections mild inclusion conjunctivitis punctate keratitis associated infections, blinding trachoma, transmitted eye rural populations many developing countries.
