摘要: Supercontinuum white-light generation in optical fibers is a process that known for its extreme sensitivity toward fluctuations of the input pulses, giving rise to strong amplification noise. Such noise has been recognized as detrimental effect prevents compression broad spectra into few-cycle pulse. Here, we show same can be exploited amplify and recover faint modulation signals an extent seems impossible with any electronic method. We experimentally demonstrate deterministic amplitude by up 60 dB. As from numerical simulations, this arises interaction dynamics between solitons dispersive radiation fiber. The resulting all-optic signal restoration provides new photonic building block enables processing at virtually unlimited speeds.
