摘要: Geologic mapping is a key to understanding the geology of extraterrestrial bodies and based on same principles as in terrestrial geology. However, there are some important differences, with respect map scale data availability. Whereas geologic mapper typically has access study area can use all spatial scales, planetary geologists have rely remote sensing or robotic situ that only cover certain range scales. Careful selection scale, data, purpose therefore essential. The advance modern GIS techniques recently enabled efficient approaches digital dissemination results for further usage.
