摘要: Upregulation of N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor function by the nonreceptor protein tyrosine kinase Src has been implicated in physiological plasticity at glutamatergic synapses. Here, we highlight recent findings suggesting that aberrant upregulation NMDA receptors may also be key pathophysiological conditions. Within nociceptive processing network dorsal horn spinal cord, pathologically increased is critical for pain hypersensitivity models chronic inflammatory and neuropathic pain. On other hand, hippocampus prefrontal cortex, blocked neuregulin 1-ErbB4 signaling, a pathway genetically positive symptoms schizophrenia. Thus, either over-upregulation or under-upregulation lead to pathological conditions central nervous system. Therefore, normalizing novel therapeutic approach system disorders, without deleterious consequences directly blocking receptors.
