摘要: Abstract HCHO is the most concerned indoor air pollutant that photocatalytic degradation a feasible approach. To achieve efficient and complete of under visible light irradiation, heteroatoms are usually doped in TiO2. But using natural materials as dopant instead expensive toxic chemicals to fertilize TiO2 remains challenging. This paper proposes sustainable green approach synthesize an N, Ca co-doped photocatalyst (TIMP) by insoluble matrix proteins (IMPs) extracted from abalone shell. TIMP-0.8 achieves near completely within 45 min at ambient temperature exhibits superior stability after 7 cycles. has monodispersity with smaller diameter, high porosity, abundant defects adsorption affinity for surface hydroxyls compared pure With assistance IMPs, rate-determining step changes −COOH oxidation spontaneous decomposition HCO3−, significantly facilitating elimination mineralization HCHO. Overall, IMPs shell surfactant, bio-templet, modification, contributing desirable visible-light performance degradation. provides new insight high-value utilization waste purification.
