摘要: A non-linear wave refraction model was developed which allows for the combined and shoaling of Vocoidal waves over an arbitrary sea bed. The effects bed friction percolation are also catered for. method is based on cirular arc technique widely used linear refraction. extensively tested against results obtained previously a plane beach. comparison indicated that refract less than theory, thereby yielding higher heights angles incidence at breaker line. This result in line with parallel contours quoted other theories literature. Further work required before caustics can be adequately treated. Future research should include spectrum transfer re-evaluation empirical relationships use shallow water region will this new higher-order technique.
