摘要: This study explores concurrent and criterion validity of a Continuous Performance Test, the Immediate Delayed Memory Tasks (IMT/DMT). Concurrent was examined through comparison with collateral measures impulsivity, while assessed by groups differing levels impulsive behavior, those without disruptive behavior disorders (DBD). DBDs in DSM-IV include conduct disorder oppositional defiant disorder, which are both largely characterized behaviors. We compared group performance on IMT/DMT several impulsivity between adolescent controls (n = 22) psychiatric inpatients DBD diagnosis 22). Data collected indicated that (1) patients emitted more commission errors; (2) errors, but not correct detections, were significantly correlated (3) posthoc comparisons, histories physical fighting greatest number followed nonfighters, then controls. Similar differences observed for measures. supports use error rates as behavioral measure impulsivity. With further development, objective like these may prove useful clinical assessment procedures monitoring treatment outcome.
