摘要: Abstract Antagonistic bacteria were evaluated for their effectiveness in postharvest control of grey mould on fresh-market tomatoes. Grey was reduced tomatoes treated with antagonists and artificially inoculated Botrytis cinerea , stored at 20 °C least 7 days. One strain, 5PVB ( Bacillus amyloliquefaciens ) particularly effective. This strain apparently did not produce extracellular antibiotic substances, yet highly active against the pathogen both mature-green red Treatment before storage 10 showed only fungistatic activity mould. Chilling-injured more susceptible to B. . On chilled fruits bacterial antagonist completely controlled if treatment applied immediately after 2 °C. In fermentation tests four industrial waste materials, grew well maintained its antagonistic when grown two them. pilot experiments wounded dipped cell suspension, development decay effectively inhibited.
