摘要: Abstract: In the Alps global warming and change in land use, particular drastic reduction cattle grazing, are causing a progressive treeline ecotone upwards shift. The colonization dynamics of woody species modulated by high selective pressure on seedlings due to extreme ecological conditions this habitat. We studied Norway spruce plot, at upper limit Paneveggio forest (Trentino, Italy). have exhaustively sampled study stand, collecting needle tissue from all adults juveniles detected, we genotyped samples (376) with 4 SSR markers. Parentage relationships between few presents stand (23) were established. Our results indicate that, spite condition environment, local adaptations do not seem favour parents: only 4% both parents among adult trees, while 96% completely or partially sired outside sampling area. Assessing parentage relationship also allowed estimation relative reproductive success trees. Out total 23 5 trees involved 59% successful events detected inside
