摘要: Green building certification systems aim at improving the design and operation of buildings. However, few detailed studies have investigated whether green rating leads to higher occupant satisfaction with indoor environmental quality (IEQ). This research builds on previous work address this. Based analysis a subset Center for Built Environment Occupant Indoor Environmental Quality survey database featuring 11,243 responses from 93 LEED-rated office buildings, we explored relationships between points earned in IEQ category expressed by occupants qualities their environment. We found that achievement specific credit did not substantively increase corresponding factor, while level, product version under which had been awarded, affect workplace satisfaction. There could be several reasons this lack relationships, some are outside control designers beyond scope based primarily intent. conclude discussion challenges priorities professionals, researchers, need consider moving us towards more comfortable, performing, healthier green-rated
