From ecodesign of products to sustainable systems design: delft's experiences

摘要: The paper presents ten years of experience with the integration environmental aspects in product development from Design for Sustainability (D@) program TU Delft. It describes lessons learnt different phases DjS research, starting project based ecoredesign, followed by Ecodesign methodology into a business management perspective and ending nowadays experiments design sustainable systems. Particularly, new model “sustainable satisfaction delivery systems” is being proposed, that will be tested further Deyt University entrepreneurs, industrial designers specialists. focuses systems team’s attention on three aspects: ihe device, institutional or infrastructural context, user practices. These are displayed Sustainable Systems Triangle to facilitate conceptualization process. Examples given an ex-post analysis examples, show how triangle could work as guidingprinciple teams.
