摘要: Publication of the WHO monograph, "Interactions Nutrition and Infection," in 1968 by Scrimshaw, Taylor Gordon stimulated many scientists to pursue further research on these issues. With regard relationships between diarrhea malnutrition, conducted since can be categorized one three major areas: 1) impact nutritional status, particularly young children; 2) risk factors for diarrhea; 3) appropriate dietary therapy patients during after enteric infections. The results studies have prompted a number changes clinical treatment with public health policies regarding its prevention.
