摘要: Cracking is very common in areas having large variations the daily temperatures and can cause discomfort to users. To improve binder properties against cracking rutting, researchers have studied for many years behaviour of different additives such as polymers. It quite complex, however, decide on benefits a more expensive solution without looking at long term performance. Life cycle assessment (LCA) studies help develop this perspective, linking performance minimizing overall energy consumption, use resources emissions. demonstrate this, LCA an unmodified polymer modified asphalt pavement using newly developed open framework has been performed. shown how modification improved affects consumption emissions during life road. Furthermore, it concluded that better understanding would lead optimized design, hence reducing A limit terms production was also found which could producers their manufacturing processes, making them efficient enough be beneficial from point view.
