摘要: The weak magnetic field (WMF) can enhance the ability to remove target pollutants in wastewater, which drives us consider whether WMF could give rise hormesis or not. In our previous study, it was found that polymyxin B sulfate (POL) induce on Vibrio qinghaiensis sp.-Q67 (Q67). To this end, we set up four different treatments during Q67 culture and POL exposure process, having no all cases (NW), adding time (AW), exerting only bacterial (BW), period (EW). It shown concentration–response curves (CRCs) of at times 6, 9, 12 h are non-monotonic hormetic where maximum stimulative effects (Emin) BW EW obviously larger than those AW NW. Emin is 26.8% occurring 20.7% 6 h, while max 14.6% NW 9 h, means stimulations earlier stronger These findings first indicated POL. This study showed as a key factor may influence stimulation effect hormesis. characteristic biphasic (hormetic effect) challenges traditional classical threshold model close chemical risk assessment. But mechanism even now inconclusive. novelty neglected has potential support further development mechanism.
